hey everyone ! Just a quick post about something that has been on my mind, Last week i had heart palps like all week and i told my doc about them and i went to get a EKG and everything was , fine, usually that would make me feel better, but all day today i have been having weird feeling on the left side of my chest, and i cant describe it, its so odd feeling, but im trying not to worry because i just got a EKG, and it was fine what more can i do, what weird chest/ heart things do you guys feel and can you give me a description if you know... thanks Michelle.

I've never been to the doctor about it, because I assume it's dp related, but yeah, my heart just really speeds up sometimes, for no reason. Sometimes without any related head-feeling. I got dp from taking a huge amount of cannabis orally, and my heart was going crazy back then, it's the same kind of feeling. Really fast, stops, starts again slow.

I have mitra valve prolapse and this is quite common, in fact there is a study the people with MVP are usually more anxious people... In any case Besides and EKG did Doc suggest and Echo Cardiogram? Ask him if you can have one done .... it is just a sonogram of the heart, checks the valves, looks at the ejection rate...etc.... Stress test is another part of the workup that should be done, this will rule out a lot of problems and give you peace of mind.
