I been in this Dp/dr hell for 6 months and I been suffering without any medications. I didn't want to listen to my psychiatrist when she kept telling me to drink half of my low dose Xanax. It's very hard for me to listen because I never had to use medications before. I don't even drink! Anyways, finally I couldn't take this awful anxiety Dp/dr brings so lately I have been taking half of my Xanax (not everyday) (it says 3 times a day when needed but I only do it once) and it does help. So I just want to share that. Xanax works for me. Calms down my anxiety for a little bit so I don't have to suffer all damn day. At least I get a couple of hours of less suffering. Just thought I would share. Also quick question, I read somewhere here that there was a girl that recovered on here by taking Xanax everyday, is this true?

Hello,

I don't know if this story is true, but prior my DR I took some Xanax during a month summer for recreational use and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, you can get quite addicted to it just like every benzos and it fucks up your memory and cognitive abilities on the short and long term if you use it a lot. I would rather go for something softer.

Hey
I only take half of 0.25 which is a low dose. Usually when I'm going to be doing something that might trigger these awful dissociative attacks. I try not to take it much because I have read horror stories. Holefully my anxiety medicine kicks in soon so I don't have to take Xanax anymore
