oh my god. and i thought over the last few years it was getting better. now it's getting worse. help me guys, what do i do? i know i've been talking to some of you who have been of wonderful help...i need support here..please...thank you.
I think a key thing for setbacks is to reduce the amount of time spent suffering the symptoms as much as possible rather than letting the episode run its course.
I have been having bouts of anxiety and I no longer wait to take .12 mg. of lorazepam to get out of it.
There is no benefit to letting it run its course if you have access to emergency medicine. The neural pathways of the undesirable sort are strengthened the longer we spend in the bad state.
I vote for drugs to handle these setbacks on an ad hoc basis, particularly if you have been getting better.
