on one of your posts, you had mentioned you had a master's degree in a medical field. I hope I don't come off as being intrusive, or nosey - but which field are you in? Just curious, because I want to go into medical dosimetry :?:

Please don't think that you sound nosy at all. I would like to clear something up, however. When I brought that up, it was not me trying to act superior. The post by Dreamland really irritated me as I believe he/she was trying to subcategorize all of us as beneath his/her level as not having anything better to do then whine and complain about our symptoms. I don't think that there is one person in here that does not truly try their best to get on with their lives and be productive, so I truly hope that nobody took offense to that. I work as a Physcian's Assistant in the gastroenterology field. I deal with people, who have chronic liver diseases such as hepatitis C and conduct and outline their treatment plans. I love my job but with this disorder, it is getting harder and harder to do.

hey kate

thanks for the reply. very cool, i didn't know they offered a master's for PA's. how did you decide to go into that field? why is it becoming more difficult? I was thinking about becoming a PA (my first plan was to go into med school). but i think medical dosimetry is a better fit for me. I am actually working at MD Anderson Cancer Center, so I run into PA's pretty frequently
