Well there are alot of things worse then dp/dr. Cancer would be the worst on that list in my opinion.

They should have added mixed state bipolar to the list. That is MUCH worse.

no one finds dp/dr cool, but there are deff worse things out there, pretty much everything on that list above, you may feel like your dying with dp/dr but you certainly aren't, most of us are completely medically healthy. mentally healthy however, thats another story.

anxiety attacks, simple reason is when i have them my son thinks im dying, i lock myself in the house and get my son to look after the key so hes always with me and i cant leave the house, sorry if that dont make sence

SELF-PITY is the worst! In my opinion we (people with DP) sometimes need to get over ourselves.

I have Chronic Pain from inoperable Lumbar Spinal Stenosis - occasionally so bad I pass out from the pain. Morphine doesn't help. When it's really bad I can't walk - I can't do anything. Eventually I may end up in a wheelchair wearing a diaper.

I have Chronic Fatigue from Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (emphysema). If I live long enough I'll be sucking on an oxygen tank - from my wheelchair most likely (a bit of humor there!)

And I have DP

If I had a choice of the three, which would I rather have? DP, of course. DP has been a walk on the beach compared to the physical disabilities. DP isn't necessarily forever - the others are.

I'm not saying DP isn't terrible. Sure it is, but it's asinine to suggest that it's the worst condition anyone can have!

Let me say I also suffer from degenerative disc disease, malignant melanoma skin cancer and heart and lung problems. I have the hardest tine with the dp. I am not being insensitive to anyone but I often feel as if I will just vanish. I know that sounds weird but it is really scary! Plus no family support. They think it is crazy and say just snap out of it!!
