... between what I'm experiencing and a delusion?

I can't decide whether I believe im in the real world. I know I will wake up in this world every day, but all the things I see are too weird to be true and that makes me believe this isn't real. Yet in my world someone who speaks like this would appear delusional yet I've been told I'm not. So this can't be the real world.

So what's the difference between my experience and delusion in that case?

If you were truly deluded you would 100% believe the delusions...The fact you are aware and doubt whats going on in your head proves you are not delusional..

You said......... "I CANT DECIDE whether I believe im in the real world"

This in itself proves you are not delusional.....This to me is classic DP DOUBT...

NOT delusion...

To me you are doing the classic DP thinkers thing and turning the DP into something much more sinister...

Thats what DP sufferers do...We take imaginary serious mental health conditions and life threatening physical illnesses and run with them obsessively...

Its Classic obsessive DP panic and anxiety and fear...

A delusion is simply a stubbornly-held false belief.

If you believe this is not the real world, then you are deluded. If you don't, then you are not, at least not on this issue (I'm sure we're all deluded about some things).

It's really as simple as that.
