for the people almost normal or have gotten back there. what is it like? what does it feel like to be feel alive and be in reality again? i think i could function better if i felt more in reality and more in my body and connected to things and people again. i could tolerate dp if like i didn't have it 24/7 or if it was very mild.

actually its not that much different to be honest.

Its more like you trust yourself your in reality, rather than believe your not.... id say thats the extent of it.

Relieves anxiety to trust yourself too

Edit: Just knowing your in a DP state gives you lots of anxiety, and when im not, i feel less anxious because im not worrying about the DP.

Hang in there, become more optimistic and i bet youll soon see relief

Oh, and the visual effects are gone... i can actually stare at things and they dont appear to move at all... i could easily live with that aspect, but its nice to see things for how they are

now that i re-read the post it probably seems like its not that great, but it is.

The peacefullness and faith in your state of mind is something to praise. I guess some good advice would to gain faith in yourself, confidence that you can overcome this, because dissociative disorders are 100% cureable.
