What MeD means?

Hi,

Since I am not bilingual

I wonder what MeD means near a name : ex. Janine Baker MeD

Is it a psychologist, doctor, psychiatrist, social worker?

Dunno.

My first thought would be to say that it simply stands for a master's degree, but I could be wrong.
