I quite drinking caffine like a year and a half ago when I got preggie and have stayed off it cuz of my anxiety. Now I get crazy gitter when I have caffine. Almost like I took a couple nodoze. I feel all wacked and crap! Is that the caffine or a psychosamatic(sp?) thing cuz I know caffine does not sit well now? Like I know part of it is the caffine! I am so used to not having it my body doesnt like it. But could it partly be psychosamitic? I dunno I know I feel better without it.
Does caffine affect you weird??

Caffeine is a love AND hate of mine.

If I am not anxious, I love it and drink lots of it. When I am anxious, I still drink it (like an idiot) and pay threefold for it.

Caffeine has a real long half life in your system. So, caffeiene you drank at 4pm could still be affecting you before bed.

Depends on how tired I am

If I am really tired I guess it wakes me up but I feel spaced out, dizzy, and sort of 'stuffy' in my head, awful.

Ironically if I'm not tired it's generally OK but it can give me the shakes and affect my anxiety which then makes the whole anxiety thoughts pattern kick off.

On the right dosage of SSRIs, caffeine is wonderful and shouldn't be a problem. I can enjoy it again without getting that buzz that's too intense. Down to 150 mg. of Zoloft because before it was just too much. Maybe that's a good test of SSRI dosage?

By the way, it seems I am a thread-stopper, or am I being paranoid?

Drink very little coffee and when I do it's got to be a good one (not that instant stuff). Much prefer beer (especially the dark ales during winter). I do make sure I have a full belly before drinking coffee otherwise I get the jitters and a tension headache.

Bright23 I was thinking of doing the same thing. Sojourner I think we all get a bit paranoid when no one replies after our post, it's that bloody anxiety thing.
