Depends how well you're feeling. When i had DP before, I had a MASSIVE aversion to weed and even the mention of it would send me into PTSD style flashbacks and panic, as I had one of the worst experiences of my life on it. Nowadays, it doesn't really bother me, but i wouldn't choose to hang with people who smoke it. I found myself taking a few tokes at a wedding when i was drunk and everyone was doing it (i wouldn't do this sober). It was fine. But overral you just gotta remember that weed is poison for DP so act accordingly

I don't really have friends anymore, but when I did I would leave the area.

And if they smoked in my place of residence, I would ask them not to, or to at least have the place properly ventilated or smoke out the window or something.

My younger brother would leave the area. He started out as a pot smoker and progressed to heroin. I'm not suggesting pot is a gate way drug. I'm just stating a fact. It took heroin 3 years to destroy him.

It took him 15 years to rebuild his life working the 12 steps of Narcotics Anonymous. He never fully recovered his health. He acquired hepatitis C from sharing needles. He destroyed his family and irreparably damaged

the lives of his 2 young teen daughters. But, he is a much better person today, for having earnestly worked those 12 steps. He refuses to put himself in a position which could undermine his sobriety.

As for me, I could care less. My problems weren't psychological. I quit drinking and hung out with my friends at the bar for 6 years. They drank shots and beers, and I drank diet coke. They got used to it.

My only concern with hanging with those smoking reefer, is that it is illegal. It also has an easily identifiable odor. I wouldn't care to be rousted because I was seen as participating in the process.
