ah. i need to stop worrying but i the past three days i have had this shooting pain, going up the right side of my head, it only last for like a minute but it comes like every five minutes, and its just starting to freak me out, does anyone eles get like this, like when they have a new alkward feeling or pain, they freak out....well im hoping this goes away so i dont need to see the doctor AGAIN, i feel like im always there, but this is really bothering me..... i keep thinking im having like anurezum or something....any suggestions?

Are you currently on any SSRI's or coming off of an SSRI? I know this is a symptom of those events.

can brain zaps last for a min? When i got zaps it was like ZAP split second and its done, and it wasnt so much a shooting pain like a congesstion pain from synus' it was more so a twitch.

Yes, that's typically what they do. Just for a few seconds at a time, and then they subside.

I can't believe I'm the only one responding to this... I guess not as many people come to this board as they did in the past ...

I get em, but I'm not on SSRI's. They aren't zaps, just pains. I dunno what they are.

i get then in my body/ head they go away im on xanax 1 mg twice a day and ive had them befor just thinking they were natural and every one got em but guess what i was wrong lol

I get these too and what I found on the interent was an "ice pick" headache, from what I read they are pretty common. Could be that, look it up ,it might be the reassurance your looking for.

Hola,
I used to get them when I was on SSRI's. I ESPECIALLY used to get them when I missed a day or two of MEDS. Sounds to me like a medication issue. But please PLEASE check with your doctor or health professional about it, because it could be a sign of something more serious.
