Yes Ive had the visual static for nearly 8 years now from HPPD and/or derealization from drug use. I think most cases Ive seen were caused by drug use but every once in awhile I see someone that says they have it without any prior drug use. Floaters are something most people get at some point in their lives. As for the squiggly lines, I think thats called blue field entopic phenomenon and it has nothing to do with dp/dr or HPPD.https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue_field_entoptic_phenomenon

My vision is a bit messed up too. Colours are over saturated, especially in certain environments such as in bright artificial light or when there is light cloud cover. It makes the world look unpleasant and unreal. Like you are watching a cheap TV and the colour settings are all out of balance.

I have a theory about floaters. Everyone has them but not everyone sees them. I think the temporal lobe has a neurological process that "filters" the floaters out. One of the first things you lose if you insult your temporal lobe, is the filter process.

My heavy floaters began following temporal lobe seizures at 17, and while they haven't gotten worse, they aren't any better 45 years later.

Okay good news is Blue Field and floaters and white static (visual snow) can go away on it's on, how do i know? I use to have it.

Other good news is there is options.

Keppra and Lamotrigine have known to sort these issues out

Both floaters and blue field phenomenon is normal. Floaters are pieces of junk inside the eyeball floating around, casting shadows that you see. Most people have these, especially older people and those with bad eyesight.

If you have a lot of them you can remove them with laser or replace the jelly inside the eye with surgery. Blue field phenomenon is just white blod cells that cast a shadow when they move through the capillaries in the eye. Visual snow on the other hand seems to be uncommon. It's probably connected to anxiety and dissociation / emotional problems. I've noticed that my visual snow changes a lot depending on how intense my anxiety and dissociation is. When i'm grounded the visual snow almost goes away completely.
