I experienced visual disturbances in conjunction with epileptic discharges which occurred approximately every 5 seconds for about 3 minutes. I believe the tensing sensation I felt in the left rear
of my head was my neurons polarizing like two plates of a capacitor. After 5 seconds of charging, the neurons discharged. When this happened, my vision distorted drastically as if I were
suddenly looking through the wrong end of 7X binoculars. Whatever was in my focus was suddenly very far away at the end of a long tunnel. The distortion lasted for about 1 second, and
then the tensing began again. After about 30 of these discharges and hallucinations, things settled down. I was left with frequent recurring ocular migraines. Here is a video simulation
of an ocular migraine. Mine are typically more left to right across my field of vision, and larger than shown. The formation is a sawtooth wave which fairly well blinds me at the apex of
the migraine. I don't see quite the colors shown in this video. Oh, and then there are the floaters.
