Trazadone (for insomnia and depression), and buspar, (an anxiolytic.) Both are worthless medications for insomnia, depression, and anxiety.
Trazadone and Buspar are popular with doctors, because they are harmless, (and ineffective.) Go ahead and swallow the hole bottle. You might get a mild headache or upset stomach.
The mode of action of these two drugs has to be the placebo affect.
If I had real insomnia (as I have in the past), or real anxiety (which I've also suffered), I would slap any doctor who recommended either of these medications.
It is just an indication of their failure to recognize your suffering and need for something that might actually work.
I found either 75 mg of Amitriptyline or 100 mg of Seroquel to be effective for my insomnia.
