I have this weird feeling that my consciousness is not contiunous. Every moment seems like a clip in movie. Another scene instead of a continuous story. It freaks me out cause it makes me feel like I am placed outside of time or something like that. It feels as if everything is sort of happening at the same moment if this makes sense? Days also seem like they go by in seconds. The fact that time passes scares the shit out of me. Can anyone relate?

Can relate brother. I went to the gym once when the dp/dr was real bad it felt like everything was staged. Like i was a side character in some training movie. Sense of time is distorted and your memory is so shit, 3 days goes by you feel like nothing happened.

All i can do is tell you that you will become better, just like before this happened. You are not alone in these feelings.

Yeah it is just so weird. One time I am training. And then I am home and it seems like there were literally only 2 seconds between that. It freaks me out man. But i know it's part of the dpdr. So I am just trying to get by. Thank for the reply man

Yes I relate to this and you described it perfectly. When I’m like this it feels like I’m trying to “jump” out of my head back into reality. Having dp for awhile and then looking back on those moments makes it seem like time hardly went by, but that’s just a trick of the mind.

I think this is called time dilation. Just take care of yourself and your responsibilities and go with the flow. Imagine you've accidentally consumed a weed brownie and just need become acclimated to it. This exact problem you're experiencing will pass, like all things.

Yes...
I can relate. The days seem meshed.
I was out yesterday most of the day, and it felt like everything happened so fast.

It's like there is no time. Can't connect to it.
