Does anyone else have this feeling of not being able to hold a conversation? When i have a conversation with ANYONE it feels like i'm taking part in a play and getting the wrong lines everytime i speak. this is really disturbing and apart from fear of going mad it's the most major part of derealization i have. is there any cures members out there who can shed some light?

just keep on doing it until it becomes something you don't analyse anymore. talk to strangers, dogs, postmen, friends...just talk alot; most people talk about nothing all the time. if there's people in work or family who you get more stressed by just don't include them in your talk program

Yeh I get this a lot, mostly stemming from (at least I think) from a fear of how others perceive me, in that I may be worried about saying something stupid, or seeming out of place. making an arse of myself bascilly.

I find strangly enough that being around my friends when there stoned helps me a lot with this, I don't get 'stuck' or 'frozen' as much and feel more natrual.

but yeh, probably best to take the advice of the above poster, practice talking till you don't anayalze anymore.
