That's exactly what helped me through the worst. However (now I'm somewhat close to normal again), when I feel anxiety or dpdr coming on I go right to my phone as a distraction. Its caused a bit of a nasty habit and a bit of a phone addiction. So be warned. Also, I read a post that the best cure for dpdr is real life and not screens and I think that's solid advice.
