I think im lost and unreal and it goes deeper and deeper. RIGHT NOW i feel like im 100% lost in a dream. Im trying so hard to think backwards out of this mindscape. I cant, i just keep falling deeper in the unreality.

Does any one else get like this? and if so what have you done to get out?

thinking backwards or thinking a way out of it all never works...

i know it is FAR easier said than done but just try doing and thinking about anything else...

i am trying to do this more and more...

it does not work straight away...you need to give yourself practise and time to start being able to distract yourself from all the thoughts and feelings...

but it is worth the time and effort...

take care and all the best...

Hi Spaceplexx

There is no need to look back, although the want to do so is overwhelming. It's still there, you need to look forwards and outwards to join yourself up again.

Shadownes, long time no see! Are you doing better? You sound a lot mre positive. I am happy for you!

Something that helps me out a lot is the idea of Action, Not Thought. Do something and commit yourself fully to the action. It can be literally anything. Take a shower. Exercise. Eat cereal. Take out the trash. Play an instrument. ANYTHING. Do something and try to get "lost" in it. If you eat a bowl of fruity pebbles, marvel in the delicious colorful goodness of each bite. Relish the whole experience. Your DP brain will fight to tell you that there is no point in enjoying your fruity pebbles, what with all the analysis and pondering and looking back there is to do. Long-winded analogy, but your life is in that bowl of cereal, not in the looking back.

Do something, dont think about something. Youll never think your way out of your DP.
