The best add-on medication for C-PTSD induced nightmares (and diurnal daytime DP symptoms)

Hi!
my name is Marco. I suffer from DDNOS and OCD.

I take these medications:
  • Escitalopram 20 mg in the morning
  • Lamotrigine 100 mg in the morning and 100 mg in the evening
  • Brexpiprazole 2 mg in the morning
  • Mianserin (the European “equivalent” of mirtazapine) 15 mg at bedtime

I have problems with my sleep. I have been having fastidious nightmares for 2 or more years. Now I don’t know how to do.

Could you help me?

Many thanks,
Marco

My sister was prescribed some Laroxyl for nightmares and she says it works like wonders. It's an anti-depressant, but when it is prescribed for nightmares it is prescribed at lower doses than as an anti-depressant.
Ok, thank you. Which dose of Laroxyl?
She takes around 8 drops every time. I searched a bit and this is what they typically advise to take for sleep problems.
Thank you Trith. Could you tell me the dosage corresponding to 8 drops (in milligrams)? Because maybe here in Italy the drops concentration is different.
Here in France I find that the only concentration available is 40 mg/ml when it's in the liquid form. So it has to be that.
Ok. It’s the same as the Italian one. Thank you.
What did the Brexpiprazole help with?

I take 200 mg Lamotrigine 10 mg ecitilocram and 20 mg nortrypline (Reducing dose from 25 and gradually even less due to weight gain.) I also take methylphenidate for ADHD/fatigue (also helps with depression)

Still haven't recovered from depersonalisation. I would say I have seen a 30-40 percent improvement mostly in DR but can be up to 50-60 % in good days or when im not with other people, or in the start of the morning.
Brexpiprazole helps me in depressive symptoms and mood stabilizing, maybe also in depersonalization (but I cannot say it with certainty because I take other tons of meds…).

I have recurrent episodes of depersonalization, mainly linked to my anxiety states. Now I am in that state, and I feel nervous in the morning and my anxiety calms down during the day.
Ah I have constant dp dr, but Its getting a bit better I hope. I had lost all hope before, but this gives me a little hope so far. The issue is im going to work in a social work setting soon and its going to be very debilitating.
I made several researches on PubMed. I am a chemist with a specialty in psychopharmacology. For the social issues you can try Clonazepam 0.5 mg bid (after breakfast and at bedtime). For the social anxiety the best SSRI is paroxetine.
