A few of us were having a discussion over on the chat, and we thought it would be a really positive thing to encourage our community towards their goals and visions for 2020. We have all suffered greatly, but we are still people with ambitions and a reason to be alive, and I think that can be forgotten sometimes.

So feel free to post your goals for 2020 :) and you will get encouragement and support. There is no reason for 2020 to be a failure of a year for any of us. Your goals might be health based, professional, financial or anything, even romantic! it doesn't matter. But it's important to visualise the things that will keep you going and improve you as a person over the coming year.

So I will go first:

1. I would like to be at a place where I am happy with my physique again (I was a former bodybuilder who lost it all with DP).

2. I would like to improve my mental capabilities (I suffer cognitive impairment) so I can enjoy a conversation again and think about things properly.

3. I would like to go back to work late in the year. I have several more months to recover but I truly need to recover now.

extra. Just because someone else mentioned it and I thought it was really cool and achievable, I would like to run a half marathon.

Pop in and let us know what you're up to :)

@AI_pk,

When you suggested to share our goals, I already had this ambitious list written down lol:)

I make lists, by the way, that is my habit of keeping my mind in order. I reckon - if I am good enough to make a list, than I am good enough to see it through, so good luck with your goals everyone, you are already half way there!!!

Cheers!

A.
