Thank you to everyone who showed support to me regarding the death of my father. It meant alot to me and I will always remember the kindess shown. I went to the funeral home and I went alone, as you know the wishes where from the family that I was not wanted so I stayed away and arranged to go alone. It was sad and painful but it will make me a stronger woman and I am so glad I have a kind heart.

Hello gem.

My father has died too. We didnt had the perfect relation between father-son, but he was my father.

When he died, the only though that I had in my mind was that I haven't been a good son. And I was trying not only to hide my emotional state from the others but also suppress it (that is a general issue with me).

It always seem very difficult, but time makes it easyer.

i didn't read the other post but i'm glad you have done the right thing. i always meant to meet my father but he died as an alcoholic in the irish part of london before i got to. maybe i'll plant something on the grave one day
