when I first got my condition it was extremely bad, full of anxiety and health anxiety. This eventually calmed down and I went through a period of extreme numbness with 0 anxiety. Now it seems the anxiety has come back and resulted in me getting stomach pains and churning a lot of stomach churning. I also get the urge to poop a lot. Idk if this is anxiety or not but it’s definitely got my anxiety through the roof like what if it’s IBS or IBD. I went to the hospital to get checked but they said they don’t see anything but the doctor said something about me possibly having Crohn’s disease and this has scared me. He said if I do have it it’s a light case. I hope this isn’t true and it is just a result of the anxiety and dp/dr. I’m going to get it checked at a gastroenterologist next month but it’s very worrisome. Im also not on any meds at all. I’ve been off diazepam for a while now and I wanna get back on it because I simply do really need it.

I got fucked over for 6 months after I left benzos, you could be going through that… stay away from them unless you have no option.

Anxiety causes all sorts unusual behaviour with your stomach and bowel movements, I know this from experience. I wouldn’t worry to much, smile while you have teeth.

It probably is not being on the diazepam. After quitting it I never really noticed any withdrawal symptoms and I wondered why because I been off it for such a long time i think. This is probably some type of withdrawal of some sort I don’t really know tho.

People underestimate the effect of anxiety and worry on our bodies. All doctors say that most illnesses are caused by nerves. There are even many cases where people have tried to think positively and manage their illness, even if it was serious. At the same time, people who think that something bad is going to happen are negatively affecting their bodies. So I hope that you will deal with your anxiety and deal with this problem as soon as possible. I am almost certain that you will have fewer physical problems when your anxiety goes away.
