For me the staring is a symptom of my brain failing to process visual input. I'll find myself staring at an object or an event and have no idea whats going on.

does it feel like you are staing instead of looking?
i just noticed that my eyes feel so achey all the time...
and i feel like instead of looking around i am just staring at things...
even when i focus on things it still feels as though i am staring...
just wondered if people had the same thing
