I think my dp/dr is caused by staphylococcus infection. I did a blood culture test recently and found out i have a heavy staphylococcus infection in my blood, after researching about staphylococcus i found out there's a connection between staphylococcus and mental illness. Staphylococcus is one of many infections that crosses the blood brain barrier.
I'll start treatment for the staphylococcus soon. I'll write an update if it works (ie if treating staph cures my dp/dr).

But i think everyone here should run a test for staphylococcus and Candida albican

Well thanks for sharing your experience but I'll pass. There are so many people who claim to have found the actual cause of their DPDR in lead poisonning, lyme disease, antibiotics, lack of magnesium and so on and so far DPDR still exists. You can't send everyone to do some tests or treatments every time someone thinks he has found the cure. Especially if the only clue is that you have some infection that can in rare cases cause something as vague as "mental illness". Especially if you are just a couple to mention this in the whole history of the forum, and especially if you haven't even proof that your treatment is going to be of any help yet. If you try this treatment I would be happy to know how it goes for you.

Also staphylococcus is just a type of bacteria. Wikipedia gives at least 40 different species of staphylococcus. You are probably referring to staphylococcus aureus.

the thing is most people do mismix what dpdr is at all. the above mentioned things can indeed cause dpdr like symptoms but not the essential mental dissociation. feeling dizzy, foggy, no motivation, bad concentration and so on could been caused by those things.
