Has anyone tried this?

I was just reading customer reviews at drugstore.com

I wonder if this stuff really works or if its just sort of a widespread placebo effect.

I know it's for depression, but I feel like that depression is at the root of this.. for me.

Hola,
Sorry, but it didnt do much for me. HOWEVER, it could work better for you, because as we all know, what doesn't work for one may work for someone else and "vise-versa". Good Luck, I wish you well.

It is meant to be as good, or better, as prescribed anti-depressants. In Germany, it is the most widely prescribed anti-depressant. Never taken it myself, as you can't get in on prescription over here and you have to pay one zillion pounds for it over the counter. Try it though, you never know. But don't mix it with prescribed anti-depressants.

Its more than placebo. Mechanism is very similar to ssris. If you respond to them then you will probably respond to sjw. Like ssris, it takes 6-8weeks to work. It seems the most potent/reliable brand is Perika. I know this is the brand used in many of the studies. Its available at Iherb.com for $8(months supply).

Yeah, I had to stop taking that and B6 about two weeks ago because taking them caused my derealisation and anxiety to go through the roof. It quite literally felt like my brain was melting. Not to mention issues with photosensitivity. However, I see this as proof of the drug's working, it's just that my already fragile brain is highly susceptible to any psychotropic substance.

Clinical trials have show that it does have a definite effect on moderate and light depression. Like dakotajo said, it is, for all purposes, a mild SSRI. If you're serious about using it for maximum effect then you may want to combine it with other supplements like 5-tp and B6. I heard it's a lot more effective this way.

Martinelv, hey dude, its about 3 quid from Tesco! and with Tesco they are a very large reputable company so they wont supply you with shite.

I have started taking st johns wort + 50 mg of B6 per day, for about 1 - 2 weeks now, is it helping? well I am getting through this difficult time, so maybe it is, thing is to say something is not working is hard because you never know if you would be worse without it.
