Lately I haven't been stickin to my sleep cycle. My dp/dr has been coming back pretty bad. Not as bad as before, but I'm afraid in a few days it could be that way. Does anyone else seem to notice when their sleep cycle is changed or they stay up too late that their dp/dr starts to get worse?

hello
my sleep paterns are all over the place, however I have noticed that I sleep okduring the day. This made me wonder if at night I had some kind of soft lighting and hey, it works nicely.

I either fall asleep with the tv on, or i use a low voltage bulb in my bedside lamp. I wont bother telling you not to go to bed until you are feeling sleepy as my guess is that you dont, howevr if this is the case try to stay up and only go to bed when you do feel sleepy ok?

mental exercise is good an hour or three befor bedtime, such as doing a bit of reading or you can go to tickle.com and have fun on their web site. On there you will find all kinds of wonderful tests for your brain to exercise to, such as fun tests that include what your best pet would be, what color your aura is, best career and other funky things.

DO NOT PLAY PLAYSTAION GAMES OR XBOX ETC. this will only stimulate adrenaline and that is not what you need to do ok mate?

all the best
jill xx

I have noticed that my feelings during the day are largely influenced by my dreams at night and the amount of quality sleep I get. What ever feelings/perceptions I have during my dreams seems to set the stage for my mental state during the day. In most cases bad dreams with a strong DP/DR content is generally a precursor for a pretty ordinary day. On the other hand good dreams put me in a relatively better state all day. I find a strong link between DP/DR and sleep/wake cycles.
