Sleep help anyone?

Has sleeping more in the day helped anyone calm their nerves? I'm figuring if I sleep more it'll give my nerves more time to heal thereby lessening my anxiety.

It's far from a cure but it's worth a shot I figure.

Naps make my DP worse. I never sleep in though. I generally don't sleep well at all
With me I always see nightmares and if I sleep in daytime they usually are even more terrifying and somehow mix with reality so no naps for me thanks!

Though we all cope differently, so If you feel naps are making you feel better, theres no need to ask if its good or not. If its good for you go for it :)
Don't nap. Tire yourself out during the day by getting regular exercise. I'd recommend 30 mins a day minimum.

Also! Don't stay up all night on a laptop. Recently I've been on a laptop from like 11 in the evening to 2 in the morning and it's royally fucked up my sleeping pattern. Stop using it about 10 then use a phone if you absolutely have to check the net. A phone has a smaller screen so it will force you to wear your eyes out more and emits less light.

Preferably though don't use electronic devices from 10 onwards. Read or something. I know it's incredibly hard to focus with DP/DR but it helps, thats a guarantee
Sleep is important, I went to my doctor and asked for sleeping pills, he gave me ones that arent addicting.

Im trying to get a pattern again, usually I stay up to 1am or if Im really anxious I can do stuff on my phone until I pass out, about 8am maximum.
