I lost my emotions and my libido following the intense seizures I experienced at age 17. As time passed, I got about 70% - 80% of my emotional capacity back, and I would guestimate
the same for my libido. I could get and maintain an erection, but it was not the same on the Rockwell scale as my erections prior to the seizures. I remember a girlfriend commenting
that it was a sign I didn't love her completely. Well, I'm sorry, honey. This might seem like it should have been a
really big deal, but I had a lot of other things to deal with at the time. If I had to guess, I would attribute the minor sexual dysfunction (I did later father 2 children) to the Vagus nerve - Temporal Lobe
conduit. It's been 45 years, and I doubt medical science knows any more about it than the day it happened. I think the brain - mind relation confuses and intimidates medical science in the same way
that the relationship between quantum and relativity intimidates physicists. There has to be a connection or guidelines for interaction....a unifying theory so to speak. But, no one is on to it as of yet.
