Hi everyone

I have no idea what the hells going on with me , but the last 5 days ive had really bad physical symptoms of anxiety plus bad dp dr

Im so bad tonight my chest has been tight for hours and i feel like I cant breath proper.
My heart feels weird and i have a feeling of doom around me im scared.
The Dr is real bad i feel like im about to die .

I think I may need to take something for this anxiety.

Can someone comment on a anti anxiety med that isn't known to increase dp dr ?

Thanks for any help

Clomipramine helped me with my anxiety, didn't really touch the DP much but didn't make it worse. I know how you're feeling and it totally sucks. Can you go for a jog to release the natural endorphins? Also L-theanine and taurine take the edge off for those really bad days

Clonazepam (Klonopin) was very helpful to me during my major depressive episodes. My anxiety was very bad and it interfered with my ability to eat. I had no side effects or withdrawal from 1mg dosage. Suffering anxiety is not helpful. Take the meds.

Hello,

I was prescribed cyamemazine, an antipsychotic drug that more or less supressed my anxiety, many people recommend it because it had a great efficacy on myself and other people. I still feel a bit stressed sometimes (occasionally a lot) and still feel a constant residual stress but it's nothing compare to the level of anxiety and fear I used to endure. I don't know if it's easely accessible in your country, I found this link though http://www.sigmaaldrich.com/catalog/product/sigma/sml0321

I haven't found anything really analogous to it, I haven't tried other antipsychotics since I have DP so I can't compare it to any others or tell you wether or not it can be helpful to you, but it worked very well on me. Haven't take it since.

Otherwise try to get yourself something for panic attacks and see if t helps.
