hi does anyone find theyre more sensitive to things with dp? i was sensitive to foods before dp , that was with anxiety, but now i find im sensitive to things like perfume, chemicals etc.

things that bother me are: Salt,.. sugar,... light (obviously),.. noise (even more intolerant of that now) anything stimulating (not sexually ;) haha, but even thats a no-no :?) - like drinks, etc.... ALCOHOL (after last experience... )....
even flamin aromatherapy oils i burn,... flyspray  or any 'squirty things' that you spray about, i find i cant breathe......cant think of anything else at mo.....

Anybody else?

i dont htink thats related to your dp.its natural to feel that, they are chemicals remember, they arent natural and your lungs dont appreciate breathing foreign gases into them.

Sometimes I'm more sensitive to things... Sometimes i'm not. About 9 months ago I was able to drink alcohol like a fish. Now after a few mixed drink I feel wasted and wake up the next moringing feeling scared and drained.

Things really arent the same...So I know what you mean Isobel.

I'm less tolerant to noise. For example if i'm on the train and someone
starts coughing regularly i get annoyed and change carriages.
But when the train only has 2 carriages and there's people coughing
in both carriages that can present a bit if a problem. LOL...!

Im exactly the same as you here. I used to be able to drink about ten pints, wake up the next morning, and feel fine. Now I cant even handle one pint without waking up in the morning feeling drained and over anxious. I find this strange and wonder why this is??
