Self monitoring,, Spending so much time in your head, monitoring every thought like a Sentry Guard, fooling yourself into thinking that by watching your thoughts you can prevent yourself from going crazy. Do I feel as well as I felt yesterday, oh no I had a thought about this or about that.. does that mean I am going to become schitzo.... Wow that was a wierd thought I wonder what that means. Just a constant looking at your own thinking and checking for any signs.....of the final moments...
You get so caught up thinking about your thinking you don't focus on the world around you , it seems strange and foriegn ..
