Something you could try is to keep asking "Why". No, not like what you think.
To answer the above questions, for instance, if you keep asking "why?" to every answer you get, you'll eventually go crazy, but ultimately it's this : Ever heard of the Tower of Babylon? God confused language, and struck down the tower. Now I'm no Christian (Not anymore), but language is invented by Man. We Created the rules for everything to happen. WE made the society. WE Made it compulsory to barter money for Goods. WE made it necessary to live a certain way, act a certain way, THINK a certain way. So actually NOT LIVING BY THOSE RULES isn't that scary. It just means we're different.
We Don't Have to be same as everyone else.
Ask Why when you panic. Ask why you're panicking. Why are you afraid? What is so frightening? The prospect of not knowing?
We named the sky blue, and we stopped looking at it. We named the clouds by scientific names, and we stopped wondering at them. We've built a civilization and knowledge base of what we think we "Know", but in fact have no idea of.
Why does gravity work? Why is the sky blue? Why does everyone out there think they Know all these things?
Who gave us the right to play God?
In other words, everyone out there in the world, at this moment in time, are just as clueless as you. But they don't really think about this, because they're so engrossed in their own lives, which is why distracting yourself helps in alleviating DP.
Strength.
