Got a prescription 3 days ago ,but still scared to take it.
After the cannabis induced hell ,I am afraid of anything that is related to "psycho".
My main problems is that I get anxiety attacks for no reason.I could be watching a documentary and suddenly I would get a rush of anxiety.
Thanks to DP i realized that I was always an anxious person since childhood.So my main problem seems to be the unnatural anxiety.
And I believe that I am a person who needs medication ,but I am scared to take the pill.

I had dp dr from cannabis (just 1 puff or how 2 say that) when I was 21. Lexapro helped me out then.

I just don't respond to medication any more now. I have DP again but this time it's not weed. The case is stress trauma and anxiety. And the weirdest part is I don't even have anxiety any more. I had it all my life. It's just gone. I would really recommend lexapro. At that time it was my rescue....

I recommend Lexapro. I have taken Prozac, Paxil and Effexor since SSRIs were introduced. Lexapro has been the "cleanest". Zero side effects at 40mg per day.

You can add Lamictal and benzos for lexarpo initial period. it should help

I hear u nocturnal I'm scared to take any medication. Maybe a benzo for panic attacks but I just don't see how a pill is supose to fix your brain doesn't make sense to me at all just adds more fuel to the fire imo

I'm on 10 mg Lexapro. I have been on it for 15 days. If you suffer from anxiety problems then be sure to start at low dose, maybe 5 mg and not 10 mg at one time. Im very sensitive to meds so I started at 2,5 mg and increased the dose every 2 week. Gonna give it 4 weeks and see how things goes and then maybe add Lamictal
