Hey sc,
I was just wondering...
I read Crichton's Disclosure a few years back and it was a VERY good book. I loved it. As a matter of fact, I should read it again. But anyway, have you used or do you use a ferry to get around? I think he was talking about Seattle. And islands. Or something like that. I thought it was interesting; we have nothing like that around here...

Um....I use a Landcruiser, a bicycle, or my feet to get around. If I lived somewhere with more islands, I suppose I would use a ferry, yes. When I get to Seattle, for instance, I take the ferry over to Orcas Island (have a buddy there). If I drive up to Port Angeles, I take the ferry across to Vancouver Island. We have members here who live on Vancouver Island, and other members living in the Seattle area that I'm sure spend more time on a ferry than I do. The have the real speedy ones up there. Sort of like hydro-foils.
I'll admit though, it's fun. Especially when the water is choppy. You wonder if the cars will end up over the side...........

As a matter of fact, my Landrover has gone over the side. Pushed it over myself, then got "Margaret" the LandCruiser.
If Maggie goes over she'll sink to the bottom faster than a rock.
