Anyone had success with stimulants like Ritalin at low doses? :?:

Just wonder if it wake up the brain, and help to be there.

I tried ritalin a few years back thinking that very thing (that it might wake up my brain). But no dice.

i asked on the board a while back if ritalin might be good for calming thoughts. i mean, it's given to kids with varying issues to calm them in school.and it does. anyway i'm confused- i didn't think it was a stimulant. i mean kids who buzz around all day, with ritalin seem to calm right down

It settles them down,but it doesn't simply sedate them (if that's all you wanted to do you could just give them klonopin).

Well bart was taking some drugs that made him go crazy , the whole episode was a really funny look at how drug companies dose pople up on drugs for example marge said after bart had started acting strangley (he thought that a basball team was reading his thoughts from a satilitte) that he should come off the drugs when talking to some drug company employees, they then said oh you just can't come off them and then discussed about 10 other drugs he will have to have to get over withdrawl etc etc. bart then excaped and marge got distressed and then what happened, two needles came from the ceiling which said valium on a big sign and injected valium into marge and homer . Ohh how I laughed :lol:

Another funny part of the episode was the fact that bart was telling the truth about the basball team reading his mind!!

If you are willing to take a drug like this, you could just bypass the doctor and just go buy its chemical cousin(meth) right on the street. Ive read that the latest reports show these drugs are not the benign drugs they were once thought to be. Theyve found out they activate the same addiction areas of the brain as drugs such as cocaine or meth. Its sickening that many parents allow our "experts" to give this shit to their kids. They also speculate that drugs like this cause very long lasting changes in the brain and possibly even structural brain damage. Nice thing to do to a young, undeveloped brain. Say, "NO" to drugs!!
