Anyone on risperdal here with positive things to say?? I'd like to only hear positive things as I've read soo many negatives. I'm currently on .25mg twice a day along with my lexapro

Risperidone is one of the atypical antipsychotics with a more calming effect. It is unlikely to work for depersonalization symptoms, but if racing thoughts are your problem it may help to calm them down.

Do you know of an anti psychotic that IS more likely to work for depersonalization? Seroquel?

My dr said my racing thoughts and OCD about anxiety and existential stuff are what's fueling my dp so that's why he started me on it. What are other anti psychotics that have worked for dp? Seroquel? Ability? It's such a crap shoot with meds

Risperdal has helped me with some symptoms. I atill got dp and dr because at 3.25mg it stopped working. But it worked for me.

Serequol helps me sleep. I, personally, wouldn't take it during the day bc it numbs me even further. But at night, w Ambien, it is good.
