I didn’t buy it…. Anyone who profits off of other people after having dp, just isn’t a good person in my book, if it truly works, give it away for free

no, but this is not the topic rn. someone isnt a fraud, just because he charges money for something he put work in it. he could continue his youtube channel and would make more money than 80 bucks with his channel, but he stopped. i dont think hes fraud and his theory about disorganized attachment makes at least to me a lot sense. my mother was not goot to me and my father was mostly absent due to work. i suffered a lot of intense bullying over a very long period from the most different people from people who hated me to who loved me. this fucked all the connection i had to myself. it just makes sense. and to be honest you suffer for 250 million years from dpdr it would be worth a try. youre complaining about 80 bucks i spent almost 5000 euros for tms. it didnt help but yeah at least i tried

well, my point being behind this entire argument, is that I know many on here who have tried it, and said it’s bullshit… just because you associate one thing good with him doesn’t mean his theory is going to work for you, if you think it is, you should buy it

Also…. If you’re willing to spend 5,000 euros, why not cough up the “cheap 80 bucks?” Sounds like you’re defending something you also haven’t tried… your logic on this isn’t making sense…

because we human cant do everything at one time i have other shit to do. another issue of me is, i still not know certain things because i was for years recovered to the point where i forgot what dpdr is, and i relapsed with a major depressive episode. i need to figure out certain processings in my mind and body.
im not defending harris harringtons, i just know the content is about disorganized attachment and for many this gonna be the underlying cause. we both know that many people with dpd love to blame others for everything. this is a common trait of long time dpers. most of them highly likely expected to get instantly cured from that. and afterwards they were disappointed
and still: the main point is, that he isnt a fraud, also not because his program doesnt work for everyone. that money he charges for his work is absolutely fine. i wouldnt write 100 pages (maybe it is more or less dont know) and prepare 5-6 DVDs just to give it away.
I believe most people who offer a cure they are sure will work on you only if you do it right as they say, and there are many, are kinds of frauds.
I watched most of Harringtons videos on his "total integration method", and although I was interested in one thing he did (writing surrogate letters, letters to someone you need to talk to, like parent, even if you never send the letter, but you tell them everything you need to say from your heart. This thing did help me and I feel it could help me in the future) so although I was interested in that, I don't feel what he says is far above the level of a lot of things you can find on the internet for free, including from certified therapists. Morevoer he is just listing everything he did, like taking supplements, without any indication that this participated in his recovery or not.
Anyway, if I truly believed I had a good method to recover, I would give it out for free. We already know that most people's recovery methods work on few people only, so going out with your method and charging 100 dollars for it does not attract my sympathy. Perhaps if he took the time to write a book, telling about his experience in a lot of details, I would understand that he would charge a few dollars if he put it online.

The chatroom was fine for the most part. I remember deeza doing his usual crap. And Micah talking about his problems. I also remember the chats we would all have about potential cures, sharing our info, or just telling each other why our day was crap. I also remember Dade. RIP man.
I got banned about 9 years back because I didn't agree with some of selig's choices. Well apparently he read the chat logs even if nothing was reported. I doubled down and said to him in PM that I don't agree with some of his choices, and I'd rather be banned than be censored for light criticism. Guess what happened? I heard he had a rough time with clonazepam after, who knows where he is now. I wish the best for him, but he did myself and a few others dirty.
When I was banned, I had the third highest positive reactions. I helped a lot of people. But that didn't matter. 2 sides to every story. But i remember you too. You were always straight up. In fact, I want to say you engaged in some of the conversations about when they posted that big data sheet for what medications people had taken and how it helped. I'm sure you remember the classic dp cocktail as well, kings college doiing research at the time. There's a blast from the past. Or when happiness is just a word was set on the main page for people to listen to and relate to. This place used to be full of people willing to share years of what they could. I only have come back now because I feel like I should help those I can.

A previous owner has said Selig sold the site without his permission, after giving him control in the belief he was working on improving it. I don't readily recall the exact chain of ownership though, or who eventually sold it to VS.
TOF's right that premium membership doesn't give you anything except access to a forum with nothing in it. So all site content is still free.
That thread polling the community for results on their meds was understandably one of the highest rated threads on the site. Something very worthwhile, and everyone contributed, but the thread starter removed it.
The first time I went in chat there were a bunch of guys calling a girl a whore. Welcome to chat. Back then, I'd watch newbies join. They'd be, "I'm so happy to find this site," and I'd think, wait 'till you go in chat. One visit and they'd never come back again. It does make me laugh how the guys from back then come back and act all innocent. 😇

Before Selig, it was Admin. His wife/girlfriend had it so he ran the site. Started it too I think. Selig helped a lot of people, but he also overstepped. That was basically what I was saying. As for chat? If it was toxic, then it being gone is a good thing. One time it was suspended but Admin let it come back because people wanted it. And new people got help from it. But back then deeza was about the worst it got, and half the time he was joking. As for acting innocent? Like I said, I had one of the highest reputation "score" on the site. Not that some number cared to me, but I helped a lot of people. A lot of us did.

I have to agree with Phantasm on this. I remember 100+ on the low statistic of new people joining and immediately leaving after visiting the chatroom. Not to mention old members. One of the sweetest ladies on here, 'Dreamer' was bombarded with dick pics and trolling on a highly immature level, even for teenagers online, and will still to this day not come back.

I remember her. She was gone even a long time ago. If I remember correctly, she set up her own website with updates about how she was doing and blog posts. I can't remember if she was the one also going through cancer or not. A lot of people came and went. I guess it must have gotten a lot worse at some point. Unfortunately, I'm sure MissK got her fair share of dick picks too. Some people are just toxic. Sucks because, as I said, there was a lot of people who were willing to help and let people vent in the chat. It's ironic that a place where people seek help, others use it for the opposite.

His name is James and wife Sarah. He was always extremely religious. My first account of years and highest ratings was banned and deleted by him, when I posted a picture of Lucifer in Angelic Form. Backlash from other people happened, and he immediately let me back on, new account though. He then made me and a friend of mine as Moderators. Then he asked me to help him run a Christian religious forum called "RAD - Rise Above Doom". There's more to say, so I'll just leave it at: It wasn't as suspect as you might think.

I honestly never saw that side of him. Learn something new eh. Glad you got unbanned. This forum needed/needs people willing to help -- people with experience. I was lucky to come here and have tons of people help me out. Do you remember odisa? Guy was like a supplement and medication guru. Set me up with a regiment of supplements and I felt better than I had in a while.
Anyway I'm rambling. If I gave off the impression that I condoned what people did, I apologize. I just know there were some of us who really did care and tried to help. Sad that chat got so bad it had to be permanently removed.
