I don't post much anymore, but am always on here checkin out what's goin on with everyone and giving advice if I have any.

Well, over the last couple days a couple of my DP symptoms have started to resurface. The first is the feeling that I am not talking when I am. Like I know what I need to say to sound intelligent, but it feels weird, like I am not actually talking. Very uncomfortable!!!!

Secondly, my concentration is horrible right now. I stare into space alot lately and have to read someone over and over again to actually process it.

I am thinking that it is extra anxiety that is causing this. My money situation has been on my mind ALOT this week. I woke up thinking about it a couple times this week and it took a while to go back to sleep. My money has been coming and going so quickly lately, it's just stressin me out. Also, I met with my advisor and began scheduling classes for my Master's degree this week, which was another new thing in my life.

Do you think I am feeling weird cause of these "extra" anxieties? Appreciate the feedback. Take care.

Kelson, i think that the new situations that are comming into your life are causing you new anxiety & DP/DR symptoms. I know that for me, i have been feeling like a new depression and a new sense of hopelessness this week and i think apart of that is due to the fact changes are ouccring in my life again, like starting college & having one of my best friends leaving etc etc.

For us and people in our situation i think it takes a while to adjust to new things before you can feel any kind of " normal" feelings. For me though i hardly ever feel normal.

hope that helped somewhat

Peace

Kelson,I do think it's possible that you're present stress is causing the return of you're dp symptoms.

I think the same thing is happening to me.Mind you I can't be certain but it all ties in time wise.

Hope you feel much better soon

best Shelly :D

"Do you think I'm feeling wierd cause of these "extra" anxieties?

Yes. Money situation and starting work on your masters? Big anxiety issues for anyone.

You do have what it takes, Kelson. Do all the work you know how to do to keep the dp at bay. Go easy on yourself.

Thinking of you,

Thanks for the replies and advice!

I've been feeling consistently good for nearly like 2-3 months. This is the first real couple days since then that I have been back down again. I can get through it, I can't just let it suck me back in. I have a great girlfriend who is a super support, so I know I will get through this LITTLE bump in the road. Thanks again. Take care all.
