How can something that stresses me help me recover?
People suggest spending more time outside etc
I should be going to university but i ve been just once in 3 months due to my anxiety(that came with dp dr 3 months ago)
So how does something that stresses me help me recover? I simply dont get it

It's Exposure Therapy.

Exposing yourself to what you perceive is a threat, you will slowly come to realize that there isn't a threat at all.

Your body will not react with negative emotions or stress hormones like it normally does to that setting, to put it plainly. It's a very common practice for people who suffer from agoraphobia.

The other side of the coin is that staying inside and avoiding these settings makes your fear and anxiety about them increase.

Coz i think the more you immerse with realities of life, the more you forget dp. The more that you are not doing anything, the more you are steered away from reality.

I think university will help u. If not find work whichever feels right to you.
