do you guys like not feel if someone pinches you or like if someone touches you or anything like that. i don't really understand how this happens. i look like normal to everyone else. but i can't feel my skin when i touch it or anything like that. anyone else have this or something similiar?

It never got to the point with me to not feel it at all.... but i could definately ignore it to the point it didnt hurt enough to care.

Id say i only felt like 20% of the pain.

I can describe it as not so much feeling but rather not believing that skin is actually on me. Or that my limbs are even mine. And people without DP will never understand how it is. They will always see us as being perfectly normal. Stinks.

yea i know i have the thing too where skin doesn't feel like its mine and my limbs too arms, legs, feet, hands, fingers, whatever everything doesn't feel like its mine. sometimes just the thought of it is scary. i try not to dwell on it, but its hard. even my head doesn't seem like its mine. i really feel like a mind without a body. my thoughts don't even seem real either or like they are even mine and even my voice. what a fucking weird illness i tell ya.
