I feel the same way. I think it's cuz animals don't judge you. And it's like a deeper mental connection... like they know what you're feeling and are there to comfort you when no one else even can tell you're upset. I seem to be able to have a better understanding of what they're feeling too. Maybe I don't know what I'm talking about I don't know.

There was a time I loved animals more than people. Animals have a very special place in my life. I cannot think of a life without them.

I agree. Pets don't judge you and you don't have to be a certain way around them like you do with people. Sometimes when my anxiety and dp are really bad, I'll just go snuggle up to my dog, and it makes all the difference in the world.
