I get stuck in attempting to employ metacognition strategies, when really thats what the problem is. So how and why do I continue doing it if I know im doing it? I know thats what i'm doing, but holding onto any thought considered as "the answer" isnt going to change it. Its the energy you're cashing out RIGHT now in this very moment. Active thought is not a perception, thats why you're supposed to let go.

Have you tried sitting down and spending a significant time observing and trying to focus your self-conversations on the concrete things around you? I’ve tried that technique with little long-term success, but a lot of people seem to benefit from that. Just a suggestion.

I don’t believe a method that I do in my mind would help. It’s almost just like I have to get used to the fact that I’m entirely on manual. Only me and me alone can steer myself
