Hey nocturnalman,

That site really isn't all that reliable, there is a clear agenda to push natural alternatives over medicine, which is great as long as it works. It's just got to be based on science/evidence/trials.

Which does indeed state that social anxiety is linked to increased serotonin in the amygdala, but that SSRIs (and NK1rs) actually reduced amygdala serotonin synthesis rates.

Still, pro-prebiotcs and Omega's would be a good idea to try too.

Wellbutrin I think is one of the few anti-depressants that have no effect on serotonin, it's for this exact reason I've been wondering about what it would do.
