I'm of the opinion that there is only one world. It is subject to many interpretations, depending on your sensory equipment. Crawling around in it is probably different than flying over it. Using radar or sonar to navigate, is probably a bit different than using vision.
Just the sense of vision has many different attributes. Owls see differently than humans, and turkeys have 10X the resolution of the human eye. (which is why they don't care for TV It is just too grainy for them.)
Consider all of that, then add the fact that pathology can negatively affect one's sensory systems and put them in an altered state of consciousness, and it's probably better that we have only one world. It is enough.
