Im wondering if this is numbness or what this is associated with DP/DR... If I do something like put a cigarette in my ear to hold it (if some of you know what I mean) it will still feel like its in there for a while after I take it out. It's a weird sensation. If anybody knows what I'm talking about; is this one of the kinds of the numbness sensations you guys refer to? Sorry if I sound weird I'm describing it the best I can.

I would say no.

That reminds me of how when one wears a hat for awhile you don't feel it on your head anymore. But when you take it off, then you feel it.

yes exactly. but only it feels like that for a long period of time before it subsides
