Some time ago, I met a fantastic girl. We fell in love, after some time of arguments, we live a short relationship and thanks to her I overcome dp. What do you think of great relationships and overcoming dp?

Gragzo23, I think that whatever works to get you out of DP is great, so well done, and I am glad for you!

My own experience is, however, that even though having support from another person is precious, and I was fortunate to have it too, I can only thank myself for getting out of DPDR. It may sound selfish, but the thing is, no other person could have helped me but me, when I was in the deepest DPDR, and I will not credit anyone else with it. Having said that, again, support is important, as we need to be in a safe place (and away from the toxic environment that probably caused a good deal of our problems) in order to heal.

Best,
A.
