You mean that they fight to get control of your perception?

That cannot be true because they work together for some functions, right?. People who have done a lobotomy cannot do some things, for instance they can associate words with shapes unless they see things with both eyes (because each eye is connected to a different hemisphere).

Philip Dick was a genius writer AND a painfully troubled paranoid with drug-induced psychotic episodes. Please don't take this as science! Enjoy though - I agree he was extraordinary - but in an imaginative way, not in neuroscience.

Ive been feeling that right brain left brain seperation a lot recently, maybe thats just my imagination but I am defo feeling a kind of brain seperation a bit like that tralier described.

That movie looks preety good, will it have the same visual style as the trailer?

Maybe someone from this forum should play the part. He (the main character is a male, right?) would know exactly how to express himself. Plus it would make it more realistic :)

But in the other hand an actor could better express what he is described to. Sometimes better than the person who suffers from the illness itself.
