I'm sure most of you guys know what I mean when I talk about messed up time perception. It's a common symptom of DP and since it's New Years Eve today, I have had constant intrusive thoughts about time. I got DP this year, in mid-February 2018. So, this will be my first New Years Eve in this state. At this point I've come to accept the condition that I am in. I'm honestly proud of myself for having learned to cope with this the last couple of months. To be fair it would have probably not been possible without medication (I plan on making a thread on this too soon/next year lol)

Anyway, thinking about this year is honestly just freaky in DP mode. On one side it feels like 2018 never really happened, on the other side it feels like it went on forever...

How do you guys feel?

Time doesn't mean a thing to me anymore, and it's bizarre to acknowledge that there is such a thing as "time" in the outside world. So when I see all the news stories of all the things that happened this year and people talking about what they are going to try to do in the new year, it just seems strange, because every moment to me is pretty much just like the last. This is definitely my least-favorite holiday dealing with this. I usually try to sleep through it all.
