Hello

I have been experiencing dp dr for over 5 years I have a lot of experience with it and would also like to learn from others experiences. I hope that others like you who read this can share what has worked. The main solution for me is distraction and filling my life with love, engagement and routine: exercise, journaling, wim hog method and meditiation even with dp dr. Living with this condition is certainly possible! I hope to hear what’s worked for you.

Hi bro, probably the only "cure" for dp/dr is what you described (engagement with something) the problem is to be able to switch your mental estate of dp/dr awareness to engagement

yeh that’s the process of recovery for me it’s been a transition of mindfulness breathing to my daily activities and life; I think that helps. Just generally being present. Anything specific work for you?

For me what have work is to engage into intelectual activities (study, read, programing).. But I think what can really help someone is to solve underline issues (that is what a therapist would say) but unfortunately I'm far away to sove mine (personal relationships, money, career) lol

Engagement in something definitely helps.

Last time I had it in 2017, I found a new friend and it left...

Meditation is good. Sometimes anxiety is so high, it's all one can do.
