Rangers, welcome to the forum. You're undoubtedly in the right place.

I'd also like to introduce you to a little friend of mine...it's called the "Caps Lock" key. You'll find it on the left side of your keyboard, and it enables one to "Lock" or in your case, "Unlock" the potential for your alphabetic characters to display themselves in polite lower-case, or emphatic upper-case. You see...this gives a certain balance to the idea you're trying to communicate. It's very "boy who cried wolfish" of one to post everything in CAPS. One never knows what it is that's important..like Federal Express calling everything "Super Rush/Super important". Well, that's all great, but what happens when there really is something that has to get there extra fast? You see what i'm saying?

Anyway, just a friendly word of advice, and again, welcome to the site. I think you'll find a lot of stories similar to yours, and people experiencing the same thing.

Hi Ranger.
Sorry to hear about your panic disorder. There is help these days for panic.
It appears to be a disorder that responds well to treatment, for some people that is.

Why not read some of the stories here to get an idea of what people are experiencing.
IMO so far from what you have described it doesn't sound like you have depersonalisation or at least not severely.
Perhaps you also need to see a professional to get a correct diagnoses.

If there is anything that will make you think in CAPS it's panic attacks,a greater sense of urgency I couldn't describe :!:

Cheers Shelly

SHOUT SHOUT.. LET IT ALL OUT!!!!

hey ranger welcome to our humble abode.. unpack your bags and make yourself at home. if you go onto the kitchen please make sure to clean up after yourself.. and in the bathroom before leaving spray heavily with lysol as some of us have really bad OCD. since you have panic attacks you will not be allowed to drive.. but we have a care van that will take you anywhere you like driven by our busdriver janine baker, aka MOM.

if you like to watch tv you should put one in your own room and hang onto your remote some of us have ADD and are compulsive channel flippers. we have a special room called the 'chat' and in there you can socialize and talk about whatever you want, and if someone gives you any crap be sure you let one of the den mothers know about it. some of them are odd looking and a bit intimidating at first glance.. one looks like a male albino silverback.. but she has a sweet smile and if you stroke her belly she will make everything alright.

as far as what you are experiencing there are a few people here i know that have just panic disorder and dp. no anxiety and no depression or anything else. so you have certianly found the right place. you are no longer alone.
